The difference between a Girlfriend and the Girl friend is the space in between girl and friend. It's just a space in between, one character, but it nails the whole equation.
This little space which occupies the whole world should definitely be called as "Friend Zone". Removing that space is like adding two hearts which are close enough, but makes hard enough to make it one.
It's impossible to break that space unless you are Chandler Bing. It was worthy for Chandler and Monica for deleting that space but never in history was is broken. It is like Ambuja Cement Ad, Bhayya yeah dewar thutre kyu nahi hai? 'Thutegi Kaise, Ambuja cement se jyo bani hai.'
But not all the spaces are bad.
Look at this small space beside the dumpster - ugly, smelly, trashy - yet it makes life easy.
Imagine if that space wasn't there. I would have run a marathon everyday to reach apt 5. If Jerry asks to get Tomatoes I would had to walk through the Scooties every time. Not just once dear, NOT JUST ONCE. I would have been in the Blood bank cameras 10-20 times a day. No one would have allowed me to walk through Wilder Tower at night if I was coming from Patterson after being drunk. This is like the shitty holy bridge in between. If people ask me if I had been to 7-mile bridge, I would say Dude no, but do you know about the 7-step holy bridge in Memphis?! It saves time and energy :D
